Who I am
Hi, I’m Martin. I build the trip before you have to book it.
I’m 34, and after living for years in China, Portugal and Mexico, travel became much more than moving from one place to another. What I love is understanding a country, its rhythm, its people, its food and the small decisions that make a trip feel effortless.
El Salvador is the country I want to build this next chapter around: compact, intense, full of coast, volcanoes, villages, coffee and local stories. My long-term goal is to be based there and grow El Salvador Uncovered into a fully local travel agency.
For now, my role is simple: save you time and remove the uncertainty. I prepare the route, shortlist stays and activities, contact people on the ground when useful, clarify conditions, and help negotiate rates where possible. You receive a clear, ready-to-use program, then you book and pay each provider directly.

Is this a guided tour?
No. El Salvador Uncovered is a personal trip-planning and booking-guidance service, not a guided tour or package holiday. You travel independently using the itinerary and recommendations prepared for you.
Can you help me choose hotels or activities?
Yes. We can shortlist accommodation, activities, restaurants and local providers based on your trip style, budget and route. You receive direct links or contacts so you can make the final reservation yourself.
Can you negotiate or contact providers before I book?
When it makes sense, we can help ask a provider about availability, conditions or a better rate before you decide. We do not confirm reservations, take payments or hold deposits on your behalf.
Can the planning fee pay for itself?
That is the goal. Better routing, better-matched providers, avoided mistakes and partner or preferred rates when available can offset part, and sometimes all, of the planning fee. Savings depend on dates, availability and providers, so they cannot be guaranteed.
Can the plan be adapted to families or groups?
Yes. The form below asks about your group, priorities, pace and constraints so the plan can be built accordingly.
What if I want to change something?
One reasonable revision is included. You can send your feedback after receiving the first version and we will adjust the plan.
Do I pay when I submit the form?
No. The form only sends your planning request. You receive a reply by email first, then the scope, price and timing are confirmed before any payment is requested.
How quickly will I receive my plan?
Timing depends on your departure date and the complexity of the trip. You will receive a delivery estimate when your request is reviewed.
