In short: El Salvador Uncovered sells trip planning and booking guidance — an itinerary, a shortlist of stays and activities, provider contacts and advice. It is not a tour operator or travel agency, does not sell packaged travel, and does not take reservations or payments on your behalf. You book and pay every provider directly.
1. Who provides the service
El Salvador Uncovered ("the service") is operated by Martin Pujol. Contact: hello@elsalvadoruncovered.com. Submitting the planning request form, or confirming a quote by email, means you accept these terms.
2. What the service is
The service is the preparation of information and advice, delivered as a written travel plan. A standard plan includes:
- a personalised day-by-day itinerary;
- a shortlist of accommodation and activities matched to your stated priorities;
- food, coffee and local recommendations;
- transport and routing guidance;
- booking links, provider contacts and, where useful, price or availability checks;
- one round of reasonable revisions.
3. What the service is not
El Salvador Uncovered is not a travel agency, tour operator or organiser of packaged travel within the meaning of EU Directive 2015/2302 or equivalent national legislation. Specifically, the service does not:
- sell or resell flights, accommodation, transport, tours or any other travel product;
- make, confirm, hold or guarantee reservations in your name;
- collect, hold or forward payments or deposits intended for third-party providers;
- act as your agent in any contract you conclude with a provider.
Every reservation is a direct contract between you and the provider concerned, governed by that provider's own terms, prices and cancellation rules.
4. Prices and payment
Planning fees are published on the website and confirmed in writing before any work begins. As of the date of these terms: 199 € for trips up to 7 days, 299 € for 8 to 14 days, 399 € for 15 to 21 days, each covering up to two travellers, plus 49 € per additional traveller up to five people. Longer trips and groups of six or more are quoted individually.
No payment is taken through the website form. The fee is invoiced after the scope is agreed and is payable before the plan is delivered unless agreed otherwise. Prices are in euros.
5. Delivery and revisions
A delivery estimate is given when your request is reviewed and depends on your departure date and the complexity of the trip. One round of reasonable revisions is included. Substantial changes of direction — a different region, different dates or a different group size — may be quoted as additional work.
6. Cancellation and right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the plan is bespoke digital content prepared specifically for you, you may be asked to expressly request that work begins during that period and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the plan is delivered. Before delivery, you may cancel and receive a refund proportionate to work not yet performed.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for holding valid travel documents and any required visas, for your own travel and medical insurance, for assessing your physical fitness for activities such as volcano hiking or surfing, and for making and paying for your own reservations. You should consult your government's current travel advice before departure.
8. Accuracy and liability
Recommendations are made in good faith and based on research current at the time of writing. Prices, opening hours, road conditions, availability and safety conditions change. The service does not guarantee availability at any recommended provider, does not guarantee any specific saving or preferential rate, and is not liable for the acts, omissions, quality, safety or insolvency of any third-party provider you choose to book.
To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from the service is limited to the planning fee you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Intellectual property
The plan delivered to you is for your personal use for the trip concerned. It may not be resold, published or redistributed commercially. Site content, text and images remain the property of El Salvador Uncovered.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised by email so a direct solution can be found. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version applicable to your engagement is the one in force on the date your quote is confirmed. Current version: 9 August 2026.
